Pappy Kershenstine’s Steak in a Bag is an old family recipe, adapted for large scale production. The starting point is the point of greatest difference between Pappy’s Steak in a Bag and other beef jerky products because Pappy’s Steak in a Bag is made from natural cut of beef, cut in fact from inside round steaks, not chopped and formed, or the ground and formed procedure to produce beef jerky. Whereas, Pappy’s starts natural and stays natural throughout the process.
It is a nutritious alternative to the many “junk foods” on the market and the health conscious public is making the change to Pappy’s Steak in a Bag for a healthy snack.

I grew up eating this as a kid with my best friends RJ, Jeff, Pete & Trevor! We’d have to find cans to recycle in order to “earn” enough money to buy Old Pappy’s. Once we did we would head right up to the corner store and buy the classic peppered beef and the shredded canned jerky! So good salty, peppery and beefy. We grew older and went off to college and would come back but eventually the corner store no longer carried it. We looks around for years but the internet wasn’t like it is today and we couldn’t remember how to spell the last name. We move to difference sides of the country, had kids but still kept in touch. 35 years later RJ finally found Old Pappy’s online and sent me a package. It still taste amazingly the same. Old Pappy’s is way more than Jerky to us it part of our childhood. HUGE THANK YOU on behalf of my best buddies for over 40+ years, RJ, Jeff, Pete and Trevor!
